The R&R R2 Heavy Kite Clips are heavy duty clips constructed of 316 stainless steel. These clips capture fishing line at the perfect angle for reduced friction. The pivoting design causes the clip to follow the direction of the pressure when hooking a fish, which results in consistent release pressure.   The R2 Kite clips are heavy duty and come with kite line clearances of (1) 1/16 inch, (2) 1/8 inch, (3) 3/16 inch, and (4) 1/4 inch which are built into the clip bodies. R & R Tackle’s R2/3 Set kite fishing release clips were designed to properly align your fishing line for optimal performance. Highly-polished, large diameter arm reduces friction and stress on your fishing line eliminating the need for a kite ring if desired.  R2’s release adjustment is very broad, precise, consistent and provides smooth, reliable releases of your fishing line when a bite occurs. The R2 3 Set clips, while used for kite fishing with R & R’s 80 pound braid, flossed kite line, may also be used individually for outrigger, down rigger or flat line fishing applications.
